Why do people insist on using tools such as a CHAIN SAW early on Sunday morning? Just because THEY felt like getting out of bed early doesn't mean that the entire neighborhood did! SHEESH!

Does anyone really care about the fate of child stars? Hollywood makes it out to be such an awful thing to be a child star and I am getting so sick of hearing about the tragic lives of the Different Strokes kids. Dana Plato has been dead for years, we all know that Willis went to jail and Gary Coleman is broke... so why keep putting on TV specials about it? It's not like it's an epidemic. We don't see Melissa Gilbert doing anything illegal - although those Lifetime movies should be outlawed. I think there are more child stars out there living a decent life, than there are the messed up, drugged up has-beens. I am just tired of hearing about Danny Bonaduce, the Cast of Different Strokes and the odd Brady Bunch kid! They are all old news and need to get over themselves!

I saw a train de-railment today! It was cool - no one got hurt, and no harsh chemicals were released - but either sand or salt or sugar spilled out of one of the hopper trucks when they turned it over - that was COOL! People were all camped out on the side of the road to watch this HUGE machine that looked like a cross between a spider and a tank with a crane arm on it grab the cars and right them. Ok, maybe I was bored, but the kids liked it!

Okay, here is my first official rant: I HATE it when someone makes an assumption and bases action on that assumption without bothering to find out what the facts are. Today, I lost a large quantity of my work because one of my co-workers got stumped on a project and couldn't take the time to send me an e-mail, walk to 10 feet to my desk to ask or buzz me on the phone system. Noooo! She took action based on the WRONG assumption and erased TWO DAYS worth of work! AAAAAAAHHHHHHGGGGGHHHHHH! (primal scream!) Then, THEN! When she told me what happened she had a whole attitude like it was my fault and acted unconcerned about the whole issue. Okay, I vented, I feel better now!

New Topic: 20/20 If you didn't see the show last night, then this might help, but I have to say that the "common sense factor" was not played up enough in the show. I KNOW that their point was that you should be careful online YOURSELF without relying on law enforcement to help you deal with cyber-stalkers. HOWEVER, they did not play up enough that
a) all of the people involved KNEW the people that started their trouble
b) the lady that makes a living online should not have had her 5 year olds' photos online, much LESS her childs' email address - and if her child HAS an e-dress, she should MONITOR IT
c) radio personalities get stalked all the time - but because he used her e-mail address - it was suddenly a "cyber crime".
I just totally had to roll my eyes, and felt a little sorry for the individuals that were featured - I don't think that all of them were stupid - I just think that the editor did not understand the subject very well, and cut RELEVANT points. Grrrrrrrrrr.
