I have a new GAoW recap up at Slash Wrestling if you'd like to take a look at it.
What a Monday night show for the WWF! We are seeing Chris Jericho and Eddy Guerrero make major movements towards the top of the card. Guerrero is incredibly over as a heel; he is drawing a bigger negative response from the crowd than either Rikishi or Kurt Angle, the supposed two top heels right now. Eddy is the man, and is ready to step into the Top Heel role. And Jericho's support continues to grow. I like the way that the WWF is slowly working Jericho into the main event level. He has an open issue with HHH going. He and the Rock were featured in a wonderful promo segment. And he then put on a wonderful performance against the Rock in the ring. A few more weeks of this, and everyone is going to be screaming for a Jericho push as the number three face.

Edge and Christian just may be the funniest tag team to ever grace the wrestling ring. The charisma and humor that these two bring with them is incredible and wonderful and really helps to make Monday nights enjoyable. Being a Classic Wrestling fan, I can't help but love their constant classic references. And bringing back the Conquistadores? Brilliance! I will never get tired of this tag team!
Speaking of classic wrestling, my latest Golden Age of Pro Wrestling recap is up now at CRZ Slash Wrestling.

Kurt Angle! It's True! It's True! Everybody's Olympic Hero pulls through and captures the WWF gold. What a ride for Mr. Angle! I'm a little bit hesitant about this, simply because I think that Chris Benoit really deserved a shot as the WWF champ before Angle got the belt. But hey, I'm just a recapper, I'm not a booker!
Angle's title win really opens up some interesting storylines. Obviously, the problems between HHH and Angle will now also have championship implications. If HHH is able to get the title off of Angle, then the tensions between he and Benoit can transition into ***** title matches. Angles title run also frees up the Rock to get involved in the Austin/Rikishi madness.
Excellent booking move by the WWF!

Let's see... WCW has now cut loose both Scott Hall and Bret Hart, two of their biggest acquisitions from the WWF ever. Now they just have Kevin Nash, who is going to be kept off of tv this week. Is this the best example yet of exactly how badly WCW was beaten in the wrestling war?
