According to my calendar, today is the last, official day of Muscle Project. After having gathered all my paperwork, notes, charts, diagrams and cheese sandwiches from the past 12 weeks, I've managed to develop a prognosis for the next 25 years of Colin's health. The study went down as follows:

Weeks 1, 2, 3 & 4: Subject shows promise. He makes a true effort towards his goal and shows no sign of weakness. His diet and consumption habits are growing in perfect unison with his weight training.
Week 5: Subject breaks down in an emotional explosion. Crying and proclaiming his washboard stomach is no more and that being pale will never help him in the long run.
Week 6: Subject establishes new goal, admitting that gaining 30 lbs. in twelve weeks is futile.

It's all downhill from then on. Doctor's prognosis -- Colin's going to be fat, very very very fat. He eats like a champ, he never gave up on that aspect of the project. He just doesn't use all that energy in a productive manner. Rather, he saves it in the form of a CHUBBY BELLY.

Subject's Note: Hey folks, this is Colin, a completely separate entity from the doctor who spoke above. Now, I've tried a lot of things in my life, and I've slacked and given up on a lot more than that. This project was an eye opener. I realized how hard it is to gain good, healthy weight in the form of muscle. I also realized how easy it is to get a chubby belly. So if you're a lazy sloth like myself, and you also want to gain weight, don't waste your time with the weight training, you'll use up all that energy and you'll never get a chubby belly. In retrospect, I'd say this project is one of the greatest foes I've ever had, and by far the one that kicked my ass the most. Hmmm, I think I'm going to work out today, just to see what happens, maybe I can get rid of this chubby belly and give it to someone who wants it.

Thanks for reading, don't tell anyone how much of a schumtz I am. If this is your first time viewing Muscle Project, just turn around and walk away slowly -- or go to my main page. Happy eating and happy chubby bellies!!!

Does anybody even care anymore??? I...am... SOOOO not doing well with this project. I've definitely gained weight. Can't really say it's all muscle, but hey, I made the effort and I still am -- from time to time...*nervous laugh*....

Hold on, lemme check my weight now. <Jeopardy music> Me scale reads 166 lbs. That's 8 lbs more than what I weighed in the start!! So, I have a week left, can't guarantee you'll see anything spectacular up here -- I'll just consider it one of my publicly unattractive projects. So..best of luck to this semi-beefcake.

Folks, I'm happy to announce that things are going pretty well. No pics as of right now. But I will tell you this: There is a noticeable difference in my physique since Day 1. I've actually developed some curves in my upper body. I've gained a little chub in my stomach, but that can easily be dealt with at a later time. My plan is to build my muscle to a comfortable amount, and then begin an aerobic workout with light weight training to tone up. As for the muscle aspect of Muscle Project, it sure is difficult. I haven't gained more than two pounds the past five weeks, and staying on top of my diet is also tough. It truly takes a lot of time and dedication. I've always had a feeling that I wouldn't reach the "thrity pounds of muscle" goal, at least that's what everyone told me, but I do think I will have made a huge improvement in my health and weight. Stay tuned, I'll try and get some pics up in the next day or so. Oh yeah, I'm a beef cake.

*whimper whimper* I need HELP!!! I'm not gaining any weight!!! It's now the 5th week and there is no significant growth. Although, Coach Biz did say I was buff. *gloats* You know, all it takes is a little flashy plumage, like my washboard stomach (note: this washboard has been altered in a manner which would require it to be more accurately described as bulbous and hemispherical) and smashing good looks, to really put the smack down on any imposing males. Coach, you're my friend and all, but I'm a MAN BABY!!!! ~pause~ *stares at the ground* Yeah, I'm not cut. Don't think I ever will be. But damnit, no one can get any more pale than myself -- am I right or am I right?????? *chuckle* Look at that grin....
