I added another movie to the media section. This one is just freaky. It's a commercial about something, it's foreign and I have no idea what the product is. The commercial doesn't offer much help either. I'm not sure what the thing is, but he seems to love... no, I won't give it away. Watch it!

I uploaded two movies to the media section. Both are commercial parodies. The pimp doll one is the funniest.

I recently read a website that was really interesting. It's about an experiment that was done at Stanford University in 1971. The researchers wanted to see how normal people would react to being in a prison or being the guards in the prison. It's called the Stanford Prison Experiment (wow, aptly named). The results are really interesting! I won't tell you anymore about it, you have to go read it , and I strongly suggest you do. It makes you wonder what you or people around you would do in extreme circumstances. Would good prevail, or would evil take your heart? There isn't any way to tell, until one is faced with a situation such as this.

Hey folks, I'm now instating a new feature to jamespate.com: Movie Shorts.

The start of this new category will be a cool little movie my brother found somewhere, it's making fun of different popular video games of the 1980s. It's pretty well done, and it's worth a download. The link is in the media section, under the movies section. It shouldn't be too hard to find, and if you can't find it, tell me so I can hit you with a smart stick. Jokes! Oh, by the way, you need Quicktime to play this movie.

Well, I won auctions on eBay for Jungle Strike, F-Zero, Super Star Wars and WWF Royal Rumble. I also purchased a book, it's the Official book for Hitler Youth. You see, during the 1930-40s, there was an organization called the Hitler Youth. It was basically a way to spread national socialist propaganda to young peoples, and to get them involved in the cause. This book was the official guide for Hitler Youth. My copy is an original, in german, with the name and address written in pen of the original owner on the inside cover. I only had to pay 10 bucks for it too! You can borrow an english version from the Confederation Centre Library if you want to read it in english. I'm not a racist, I just think it's an interesting piece of history.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Get this everyone! This guy on eBay thought it would be funny to sell a playstation 2 box and receipt. JUST THE BOX, NOT THE PLAYSTATION 2 OR ANY COMPONENTS, AND THE RECEIPT. He got over 40 bids on his auction, and the final bid was $425 US. The woman who bought it got pissed off and gave him bad feedback for him. Check this out.

God damn, that's funny shit, I want to do that some day. Stupid people.

Man, I am an eBay freak! I'm eBaying up a storm here! I'm currently watching 5 auctions (all SNES related). Here's my current list of games:

Zelda: A Link to the Past
Sunset Riders (yet to arrive)
Super Mario World (Scotty Fletcher and I are in negotiations)
Royal Rumble (yet to arrive)

The ones I'm watching on eBay are

Jungle Strike
Super Tennis
Super Star Wars
The Super Scope
and a screwdriver bit for opening SNES systems

By the time you read this, I will most likely have Jungle Strike. There is about 20 minutes left on the auction as I'm typing this.

I added a comments section to every post, so you'll be able to post a comment or 2 about a particular post.

I forgot to mention in my previous post that I will be getting a picture of my brain in my email! The researchers told me they would send it to me, so I'm going to put it on my site as soon as they send it. I saw it already, and I just hope that my brain never sees the light of day. I want it to stay right where it is.

Also, I bought a Super Nintendo at Toys 'R' Us in Halifax on Saturday, so now I can play my precious game, Zelda: A Link to the Past. I also bought Sunset Riders, a classic game I can remember playing at arcades when I was a kid. My favourite character was the mexican with the poncho and sombrero, and I hated the pretty boy cowboy with white pants and matching blue hat and shirt. Stupid cowboy, he sucked. Anyway, they're both wicked games!

If you're looking to get rid of any SNES games, come see me before you trash them please!!

I'm in Halifax right now, writing to you from my grandmother's gateway PC. It's pretty nifty, although it could use some more RAM. The reason I'm over here is because I'm going to be taking some medication that requires blood testing to be done, and I needed to have an MRI (catscan) done, so said a doctor I saw.

So off to Halifax we went, only to have the MRI be part of a voluntary research project! I didn't mind though, I thought it would be cool to be in the tube and everything. I was told to remove all metallic objects from my person, such as coins, watches, etc, because the magnet in the MRI room was so powerful it would forcefully remove the items for me.

Before I went in, I was told it would take roughly an hour to finish, they were going to do different types of scans when I was in there. The first scan lasted 15 minutes, and the others lasted about 10 minutes each. The last scan they did, while they were doing it they had me do math problems in my head, to bring about a change in my brain waves. Cool, eh? I got 25 bucks for the research (that the old man and I are fighting over, he paid for the trip over, but I was in the tube).

By the way, you may have noticed that jamespate.com was down for a day or so. My apologies, I was having trouble with my nameservers, but you will find jamespate.com a LOT faster now. If you're using Island Tel high speed, and can't view my page from home, ICQ me, there's a fix for that.

Lates, enjoy your exams, suckas!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
