The Distributed Possessions Lifestyle

I'm (slowly) trying to relize a lifestyle where I distribute as many as my possessions as possible. This mostly entails getting rid of most of my physical objects. To that end, I have The Truth Concept: fit all my stuff in one trunk. Essentiall, it's the equivelent of a paperfree office: a possession free person: you don't get rid of everything, you just digitize as much as possible. The following are dated notes on this concept.

For those of you who dig Mr. Brown you can now buy cool stuff like t-shirts, mugs, and mouse pads. I know it's what ya'll have been waiting for.

I've gotten rid of more stuff by stowing it at my grandmother's. However, as can be seen in the fote below, I added a sofa and a chair to my room to create "Club Coté"

I got rid of my old dresser and I've fit all the former dresser residents in the yellow drunk. Not too exciting, but fun. Soon I'm converting the old room into "Club Coté" so I'll have a couch and some comfy chairs.

Exciting news: I have a trunk now. It's a bit small, but I think it'll be good to start out with a small one. And, if I end up needed another trunk, the size will be good too. Here are some fotes:

And the process of reduction has begun. I sold a grip of clothes to Buffalo Exchange for (a measly) $6 and gave Claire my radio/turn-table combo as a trade for the trunk. Note, in the fote below, the lack of the silver radio on the left:

Claire has offered me a trunk of hers. It seems a tad small, but it's a sturdy trunk, and available. It seems I should take her up on it: start small.

All papers can be scanned in with a paper-port of similer technology, and stored at xoom.com or anywhere else. Hopefully these places would be secure.
