the icelandic television channel stoð 2 has made an icelandic version of "Who wants to be a Millionaire?" called "Viltu vinna Milljón?". i find this amusing, since 1,000,000 icelandic krona is US$11,806 today. not exactly the same scale. i find it hard to excited about this amount of money. then again, maybe the icelanders can have the last laugh. the highest prize is $0.0420/icelander while abc is giving away $0.0036/american.

just after i got my first blog in, i walked into a chair, and dislocated my littlest toe. then a 0200 visit to the emergency room at Sjúkrahús Reykjavíkur. turned out to be minor, but it sure hurt.
