Q. Is it true that the members of the pop band Hanson are making their film debut? A. Yes. Talented brothers Isaac, 20, Taylor, 18, and Zac, 15, make a cameo appearance as themselves in Frank McKlusky, C.I. The comedy, due out next spring, stars Randy Quaid and Dolly Parton. The funniest thing happened the other day. I was in gym class and we were instructed to play some crazy "flag football" game. I wish I could meet the guy that came up with the idea for flag football. He probably thinks he's really smart and chuckles to himself all the time. I can just imagine him hunched over his little desk "inventing" new sports for high school students to play in gym class. Anyways, there were these belts we had to put on with the flags already attached. There was a clasp thing in the front and everything. The only person on my team that I was really friends with was Emily so we just kind of hung out. We threw the ball thing when we were told and ran along with the masses. However whenever Emily ran, her belt would simply and humorously come unclasped and fall on the field. The strange part is that this running was extremely half-hearted, it was more of a slow jog, more to fool the gym teacher than to get to the other side of the field to intercept the ball. Of course rather than run all the way back and pick it up, Emily would get a new belt each time this happened, resulting in a football field littered with randomly placed belts at the end of the period. It appeared as if a large number of students had been destroyed during the course of the game. Ah, high school.

The second day of school is over with. yay...I guess? I don't know. My classes are decent and I still get to talk to my friends a lot. Hopefully once the routine sets in and we start having full days (we get out 2 hrs early the first week) I won't be too dissatisfied. I'll just have to keep myself entertained, I suppose.
