One of my Heroes died today... the world is a darker place without the light that was BIG E.
I've been watching / participating in this sport for the last thirty years, and just like the rest, it's hard to believe it when a driver dies... I'm blown away.. Mr. Earnhardt was a tough man, He was a fighter, no one ever gave him anything, He earned it all. He passed the way I'd imagine He wanted to, (if such a thing exists), behind the wheel of his number 3 monte carlo... I met him once, at Darlington racetrack in South Carolina. I was a kid then, all starry eyed and open mouthed. He was big to me, larger than life, he was a DRIVER. I never wanted much from life, but that warm sunny day, He made me believe I could be something too. I never realized my dream of driving for a living. Oh, I raced some, little dirt tracks, bangin up the car my cuz and I had just finished fixing from last weeks escapades. It never got farther than that, just kids, bangin around in the dirt. I ran moonshine in North Carolina (again, with my cuz), we thought we were hot stuff, acting like we were racing with Dale, Petty and Yarborough... Building and racing cars has always been a part of my life, whether it was for moonshinin, draggin, cruising, or dirt tracks, I always had fun. Part of that fun left this world today. I'd like to thank Mr. Earnhardt for giving a Redneck Kid the time of day, I'd like to thank him for the time I spent dreaming of winning, something that doesn't happen often in my life. I'd like to thank him for all the times he stood up for his self, his family and friends, cause I learned a little of that from him.... Yeah, one of My Heroes died today... and a little peice of me goes with him...
My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to his family..

Ok, well, I've been busy lately.. So sue me... I'll be around all day today.. try the MSN MESSENGER, or ICQ...
**sniff** **SNIFF** What's that I smell?? Smells like a mixture of Tire Rubber, High Octane Fuel, and The sweet, sweet odor of BENT METAL.... If you aint watchin NASCAR, you aint gonna get no action from me.. Thats right, today is the DAYTONA 500, on the FOX channel, ( 41WDRB in my area ). No, I ain't linkin them, 'cause that shit is way over hyped. I've been watching / participating in stock car racing for 30 years. Back in the day, it was just a bunch of Moonshiners, showin off their hotrods. Now it's become some kinda mega freak show. Today is the first day of the "New Millenia" for NASCAR. It's gonna be a circus around the race circuit this year, and I ain't missing one minute of it.

hmmm..I need some help here... Do any of you own one of these cams?? I'm gonna buy another (mebbe more) webcam, but I need some input..
I'm gonna buy one of these two...

cam choice # 1 or cam choice # 2

The first Cam
Pros: I could get 2 or 3, thats more for you guys to view, more places I could put them around the house, etc. Audio capability a plus, too...
Cons: 9 ft max cables ( I can't seem to locate extended USB cables) They have to be connected to a PC (ie, no portability)

The second Cam
Pros: Portability, I could take it with me when I'm out, I see a lot of freaky stuff when I'm out.... it's a webcam too, it does both pretty well (so Intel says)
Cons: No flash, Limited memory storage, No audio, I can only get one of them....

if you have any input on these cams, If you've used one of them, or know someone who has, I'd appreciate the input. Just email me your opinions, Ideas, etc. If you haven't used one of the cams, but would like to voice your opinion about whether i should go for quantity or quality, let me know about that too...

Man, was that 12 hours of sleep NICE, or what?? I awoke to find that my roomie, Freek had cleaned Da Crib, (thanks baybee). I'll be around all day today (no plans) so hit me up on one of my comm channels....

You know, I NEVER join email lists, EVER. Well, doofus me decided to finally try it out. The dood was saying how he wouldn't sell the list EVER. Yeah, yeah, right. He sold his list. Now I have piles of junk in my email box. Great. Fabbo. Wunnerful. Just goes to show ya folks, NEVER, EVER, join an email list. That's why I don't have one on my site. Sheesh, when will I learn?? L O L

Welp, all I'm sweating today is the 150$ I gotta have by Tuesday for the courts, if nothing else I'll beg for leniency (yeah right). So, if after Tuesday, you don't see any posts for a minnit, you know I'm a guest of the Man again. I think the conversion is 10$ = 1 day, so I won't be gone but 15 days or so. OK, so the new job is killer... good people, day work, lotsa fun, non repetitive, good wages, benefits, weekends off ...ok, it's everything I asked for... Prayed for... I don't care who/what/how you pray, all I'm saying is PRAYER WORKS FOR ME.... that being said, I'm goin to Mom's tommorrow (laundry) and i get to spend some time with my daughter.... She rules you all, so don't even ask...

OK, i'm off to my first day of work. UGH... These 5am wakeup calls to ride a bus 2 hours to work are NOT gonna be fun. **sigh** such is the pain of a working man. At least I talked them outta some decent money. The bus rides will probably just give me more "fodder" to post, so hey, it all works in the end. Speaking of which, I need some more cams and cables, so I can wire the house up. The current cam only has a nine foot cord, and right now I could use a longer one. R O T F L O L

I've just watched the funniest four hours of video.. My friggin sides and gut hurt so bad, I'm gonna puke.. Today could have been the worst day in recent history....... Fortunately, God saw fit to put Tom Green and Jim Carrey in my hands.... Go rent Me, Myself and Irene... Go rent Road Trip........ Laff yer friggin butt off for four hours... I did, and it sure made the day brighter.... It's also nice when yer best friend stops by with words of encouragement....... No real Job Offers yet, I'll give it more time........ Laughter, it may truly be the worlds best medicine.......
