i'm messing with color schemes and making this the main page in the iota portion of my site.
i should be sleeping - i have a strenuous day of shopping ahead of me.

how does one express disinterest in someone they've tried to become interested in? "i'm sorry, you bore me" seems a little harsh. naming little faults seems like a bad idea. listing qualities deficient in the person seems in poor taste... "i'm not ready to date anyone right now" puts one at risk of seeming a liar if the perfect date comes along right afterward and the boring date finds out about it. i've been told that honesty is the best approach. "i just don't feel anything for you" or the like. i'm hoping i can just use subtle hints like unreturned phone calls, distractedness in person, being busy ALL the time...

dating: i am still new to the whole concept of hanging out with someone i barely know with the idea of becoming a couple (or at least getting my groove on) if it all works out. i am much more used to becoming friends with someone, getting to know him, starting to like him, and then hiding the fact that i like him in order to not ruin the friendship. unrequited secret crushes are much more my style than mutual open pursuit will likely ever be.

kissing: i need to kiss someone, just to have kissed someone new. just to notice the differences and realize that the pleasure of it outweighs its strangeness.

sex: it would be good for me. it would be wrong for me. it would mess up my brand new sheets.
