Maria Maria.... I think that is a pretty good introduction for today's post. Today, I had to go to our highschool's football game? Why? Because I am in the famed marching band (cheering in the background). I play the melophone, the marching band version of the french horn. I am one of the three people who actually enjoy marching band/band. It's me, Tom, and Justin. Naturally, we are all brass players. Brass players rock!
This year's theme for marching band is Westside Stories. Cool, huh? Anyway, I saw the opening ceremonies for the olympics last night at my friends, Yumie's, house. I think the beginning of the ceremonies was pretty dumb. There was this young girl suspended by cables, floating and doing flips in the air, while fishes and jelly fishes were running around on the field. By the way, did anyone see that one fish fall? Anyway, the announcers said that this was the beginning of her fame and that she would be immortalized for all time. My friends and I snickered saying that the only way she would be immortalized would be for her to die right then. I know it sounds morbid, but hey, it's the truth.
If you did watch the opening ceremonies, then you would have seen the horses all marching in unison. I was humbled by that sight. Those horses were SO much better than our marching band. The horses could actually walk in formations and walk in a straight line. My marching band cannot walk in a straight line. Damn...

I was just thinking of how I get ideas for web sites. I don't know why, but recently, I have been like getting ten ideas for web sites everyday. This is so strange, I have never ever gotten this many ideas. I have 3 ideas for a completely new design for davidkim.nu. The thing is, I really like this design. Ah well, I might just design it and put it on hold until I get bored with this design.
I am going to put up some of my recent works of writing. You can find them in the About Me section. So long, farewell...

At my church, there is a tradition that every age group of the church has to memorize some bible verse and has to present it to eachother. There are four or five impartial judges (impartial?*cough cough* they're human) that determine which groups did the best and give them prizes according to how they placed. This year, my group (high school) had to memorize John 15:1-15. To people who do not know much about the bible, John is one of the 27 books in the New Testament. The number 15 is chapter 15. 1-15 means verses 1 through 15.
Anyway, getting back to the point, my youth group presented the verses in a form of a medley of songs. To make a short story even shorter, we won. We got the grand prize baby!

Today was a beautiful saturday. Bright clear skies, a few wispy clouds in the distance, not too hot, not too cold. But guess what. I was stuck inside. From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, I was at Rutgers at an All State Orchestra rehearsal. Now don't get me wrong here. I love playing the french horn and all, but did it have to be today? Ah well.
I've been browsing the net, looking at all types of web sites, ranging from personal sites to big corporate sites. From all of this eye candy (and eye trahs) I have noticed that the majority of personal sites out there are female created sites. I'm not degrading those sites are critizing them in any way. I am just saying that there is a lack of male created sites out there. So I call out to all of the guys out there to come together and to change the web design scene drastically. It will no longer be female dominated. Us, guys, will have a voice on the net. My rant is finished. Thank you.
