I apologize -- believe it or not, I haven't been ego-surfing that much lately. I guess my life has become much busier now with my job and my boyfriend.
But I need to remember to set aside time every day to ego-surf. It's important to figure out who's linking to poprocks.com, and to recognize these people for their fabulous taste in websites. On March 18 on a blog called Rovidica Jessica Thomas wrote: "I am mysteriously, certifiably obsessed with this person. I'm not sure if I'm drawn in by the fact that she and I have simultaneously nothing and everything in common (the age-old attract/repel magnetism), or if it's just that she lives so much of her life online and I am just a voyeur. Whatever it is, it eats away at me, sucking up the moments of my day. She has provoked an existential crisis of pop culture proportions. I'm in a tailspin."
Wow, I am provoking existensial pop culture crises! That makes me excited. If I'm gonna change the world, that's how I'll do it. Tuesday, April 04, 2000
I noticed that a few visitors are coming to poprocks.com from http://web.hoho.com/links.html. The domain name intrigued me (domains named after sugary snack-foods generally attract me), so I went over to web.hoho.com and checked it out. It's a page created by a guy named Mike Wakerly who is a student at USC. He apparently built a car MP3 jukebox.
