So many days... so little time. Except that time throughout a set number of days is constant and all... Let's see... where was I in life... Ah yes, I remember. I'm at school. Yeep.Things could be going better, I suppose. Being here has been a learning experience, that's for damn sure. Although I'm not quite sure what exactly I've been learning. Here's a little recap of things that seem to have struck me:
First of all, don't go to Subway the evening after a bunch of schools from around the state hold a "Science Olympiad". Sure, it's fun to meet random people who really only want to talk to an intelligent person after being hounded all day by children younger than them, but lines get long when two school busses are parked outside of the place...
Secondly, when a person goes for more than 24 hours of sleep, there is a definite giddy sensation. This is promptly followed by a complete and total loss of coherent thought processes.
Next we've found that Hotline servers are truly a godsend. When a person like me can download every episode of Robotech in under a month, it is a true feat for the cartoon fan. Not that I reccomend this, as net speeds are severely slowed by many people trying to download at once.
Also, let it be known that Konami truly did a remarkable job with the music for the Castlevania series. Go out and download an NES emulator and play a bit of Castlevania and Castlevania 2. Then play all the way through Super Castlevania 4 and compare the versions of "Vampire Slayer" (fist level song CV1, final level song CV4) and "Bloody Tears" (outside of town in daylight song CV2, level before final level song CV4). Then, if you're really daring, go out and try to find a semi-rock version of "Bloody Tears" that starts with a single measure of piano synth followed by mostly guitars and drums (may be hiding under the name "Symphony of the Night").
And finally, "The Power of One" is a really good movie. I believe that everybody should watch it whether or not they take a class with Mrs. Corletta as the teacher. Since my last watching of the film, I have remembered two things: Humans have been right bastards at several times in history and I really do get more joy in life if I have a chance to be the cause of people's happiness, which makes me think that maybe I should can the whole CS thing and go for some career that would have me helping people...

Well, I haven't updated this old thing since well before Christmas... It's been over two months now, so I suppose I'll post a few thoughts...Well, I'm back in school, attempting to rectify the mess I made last semester. If I try, I may actually pull it off too. Now all I gotta do is work on my assignments and not party too much or play too many video games and I'll be fine. I'm screwed, aren't I?
In recent news, one of my friends decided that his roommate needed a girlfriend, and there was a girl who liked him. So he took it upon himself to buy $120 of alcohol to get them both drunk so they'd hook up. As of last monday they both got tongue rings. Now we make fun of them with Chris Rock's "No Sex in the Champagne Room".
I've also started on a new project, which I may say is going well as I've finished the first step. I'm going to make my own copy of the soundtrack to Chrono Cross. All I need to do (since I already got all 3 cds worth of mp3s) is install my burner and make some music CDs.
Well, that's really all thats going on for now. I hope that if some people read this they might congratulate me on actually updating it. See you all later.

Wow.Last night I stayed up from 6:30 'till 4:45 watching all eight tapes of "The Vision of Escaflowne". All I can say about the series is wow. I mean, it's so perfect. It really is indescribable.
Anyway, another person I know started a web page saying she could update more often than somebody else she knew. Thinking it might just be me, I've decided to update and spite her. Or not.
I leave for my roomate's house for Thanksgiving tomorrow. I'm sure it'll be good and restful. Other than that, I'm going to go skiing sometime, but I don't know when. All I know is that it'll be with my roommate, his girlfriend, and some friend of hers who's skiing skill is probably equal to mine (aka: none).

Well, once again it's time to say something profound. Too bad it's too late at night for me to think.So, tonight my roomate brought his girlfriend from Albuquerque down to campus to party or something. And, seeing as there's two beds in my room, I'm not gonna be seeing any sleep... at least not there. Maybe, if I'm lucky, I'll find a nice place to crash for the night. Yeah right. Oh well, it could be worse. I could have class tomorrow.
In other news, I probably screwed up my absentee ballot, so don't be thinking my vote's gonna turn the tide of this election. Hell, I'm a resident of MARYLAND!!! It's not like a Republican can even possibly get the support of that state.
Oh well. I'm overcome with that random empty feeling. No clue what the heck it might be. Not homesickness. Just sort of like I'm not complete right now. I wonder if it has to do with knowing somebody but never getting to see that person... If I blame it on that, will it make it true? Does asking myself questions make things easier to understand? Does anybody actually read this stuff so as to possibly run this through their heads and maybe even help me? Is this just a place where my thoughts collect like a journal? Am I just rambling now?
Who knows. It certainly isn't me.

Ah, I'm starting to update at least a little bit more frequently...So, basically not much is going on in this land. School is school, life is life. I need to do laundry badly. That sort of thing. I have managed to watch the entire first season of "The Slayers", which is an awesome series that everybody should see or else. Don't ask "or else what" because I don't know. Maybe I'll sick Ruby-Eye Shabrunigdo after you.
Anyway, I'm hanging in for the time being. Things are going alright, although I've been a little out of things lately. I just have a feeling in my stomach that something isn't right, and I don't know what it is. Such is the life that I live, though.
Well, it's off to bed with me. More to come when I feel like it. 'Till then, sit tight and hold your breath in wait for the next update. Really. It'll work. Or not.

So, I'm sitting here. It's Friday. There's no classes today. Whoopdeeshit. I'm bored. I really need something to do. Really. I was almost tempted to write a post for the beautiful story "The Shadows of Darkness" when I realized that it would be too much like actually writing a paper. Which is not something I want to do. So I'll get to that when I'm a little less lethargic. Oh well.

11 days pass. Nothing happens. The wind blows past the ears of those waiting for the page to mystically update itself.Then I realize "oh wait, this is one of my duties". Oops.
Well, nothing much is going on right now in my world. The usual mix of classes and work sets in. Except now I have more free time and actually do something with it. Such as thinking up ways to write a definition paper on sin for English class. Why do we study English at a tech school anyway? We're not going to England any time soon...
I've got 3 days until I have to wake up at 4AM to get to the airport and fly home for my sister's wedding. Maybe I'll see somebody in that time. Ok, I know I'll see somebody, just not how many somebody's I'll get to see. If that wasn't confusing enough, I'll have to try harder.
Anyway, life's great. I'm in a sum total of 2 clubs here, and I've met people with interests very similar to mine, so I have somewhere to escape to once in a while. That and you haven't lived until you've played Half-Life mods over a network.
Ok. Time to write an English paper. Cya later everybody who reads this.
