Went to a play last night at the Globe in Balboa Park.
Not a great play but there was a beautiful play of light on the buildings and the sky was that deep deep deep blue/black.

We took our old cat, Zora, to the vet this week and had him put to sleep. Poor old guy. I'm been having waves of sadness, very complex feelings. You can see the memorial to him here.

There is spring in the air after a few rainy days. It is the only time of the year that feels truely familiar to me. The spring of Late march or April in Vancouver. The soil is moist and easy to work. I bought a bare root peach tree today. It has 4 different varieties on grafted onto the root stock - the peach season in our yard will be 8 weeks long!

I feel taxes coming on.
