Yes, it will be wonderful when everything goes through a wireless Dator: telephony, calendars, news, pictures, TV, music, film, radio connected 24*7*52 to your eyes and ears. We will educate ourselves online so we don't need to see other people, which will cut down all infrastructure costs and will reduce penalism in schools. Of course we'll work at home. There will be "old" factories in the third world making the stuff we invent at a lower price: the Contact Less Society! We all get an IP address at birth which will follows us through our lives, using a super PDA which may be docked to a widescreen and a surround system at home, that acts as a credit card and every other card and keys and settings of the car seat. It's interesting to see that we'd used wireless communication since the Stone Age, it's just during the last 100 years we got connected through wires, and now we talk about the New Wireless Heaven again!

In Sweden we think that Rattvisa is the most important thing of all, even viktigare than Jamstalldhet and Solidaritet. And how do we get Rattvisa? Jo, genom Bredband für Alle! We are working on the bredband to everyone. All Swedes shall sitta hemma and do everything themsjalva: buy milk, flytta money, rent a car, invest in pensionsfonder - everything! After a hard day´s arbete at the kontor - in front of the Skarm - all Swedes go home and fortsatt sit framfor the Skarm. That´s what we kallar Rattvisa! Sedan they titta pa Sa ska det lata and Allsang from the Skans and feel free! Sweden´s slogan under the ordforandehalvar is the three E´s: "Entertainment, Ericsson, Eldreboende".

Excuse the swedish... "Det är löjligt att påstå att tv-spel påverkar barn. Om tex Pac-Man påverkade barn födda på 80- talet skulle vi idag ha en massa ungdomar som springer runt i ett mörkt rum och äter piller medan de lyssnar på monoton och enformig musik."

"No conditions are permanent; No conditions are reliable; Nothing is self." - The Buddha A very useful quote - both in software projects and in human relations!

Words of wisdom (stolen from my sysadm's email signature): "The reason computer chips are so small is computers don't eat much."
I don't know where the quote comes from.
