hey....sorry to hear abt your current plight. I believe that when you've decided on something in life, keep it deep within you and never look back. You can't go forward if you always keep glancing back. And hey, read more BateTime stories to ease your mind awayyyyyy....ahhaha...yeah, shameless self-promo.

is it so hard to get someone to come out fer a drink? i am so down in my luck. i am so pissed. watched Artificial Intelligence today halfway through the show and i was already fidgeting. so much effort was out into the beginning of the show, the portion where it all suddenly became abstract and the show dragged till 2000 years later only to fit the aliens in was jus plain ridiculous. a waste to a great idea fer a story.
the shoot and props were kinda interesting but watching an entire show shot in tht dreamy lighting was completely tiring. and i din quite understand why there was this scene where the super hi contrast of David running back into the hse.
the aliens were jus dumb.

i was spooked.i was at a unclean chalet ova the weekend. the v old telecoms chalet... and when we were in the room, with mahjong sound filling the air. my fren's auntie and parents heard sounds from the rm right at the end...they heard sounds of breathing and manny ppl moving around.. and had thought my fren brought many of her frens home.. only to realised there's really no one in the rooms.. the 3 dogs were acting weird..rudie kept sitting at the door looking farnie not wanting to slp. and the silky terrier kept marching on the spot. they din wander far not towards the rm the whole time we were there..
i came home from over the weekend and did not realise anything till my fren told me..her auntie heard things..thn i started to realise why my dog was acting weird..since we were back frm the chalet.
last night. i was on my pc at the back of the house till 4am.. getting my things done..on my way back to slp, i walked pass the kitchen, and found the smoke sucker thingee on.. there was quite a loud roaring and the orange light was on. i got a shock but i was too tired to react.. jus tot my mom fergot to off it frm frying fried rice..
today, i ask my mom.. she was sure she offed it.
fuck.. then she ask whether i had brought unclean things home.. rudie cries weird recently, sorta like a howling. and he sticks to corners.. not wanting to wander around the kitchen much..........

Its time to believe in Horoscopes again.Pisces emotional and imaginative, you have a rich inner life, though you may seem rather unobtrusive and quiet outwardly. You usually keep to yourself.
You are capable of giving selflessly, living a life of devoted and compassionate service to others.you tend to give indiscriminately, to let others take advantage of your kindness, and to encourage the weak to remain so by becoming dependent upon you. You have little sense of boundaries, of limits, of knowing when to say "no".
You are more of a poet than a rational scientist, for your mind does not function in a strictly logical, linear fashion. The language of music, art, or poetry is natural to you, and you are also able to think in highly abstract and symbolic terms.Translating your thoughts and impressions into concrete, everyday language may be difficult for you at times and consequently you may appear less intelligent or at least less quick-witted and verbal than others.
able to sense what others' thoughts and feelings are, even before they say anything to you. You often form an opinion about a person or situation without much factual knowledge of them, and your impressions are usually correct.

Some stuff for better....very different now. but got nothing to do with what i do. It just happens. about not wanting to care so much. yah. in terms of my friends. other than that...about the same.
friend B: erm......it was really diff coz i had more responsibility, of coz felt tired coz been doing somany things wan to be happy but kinda diff coz life is never smooth i always have this in mi as long as i'm happy i dun bother bout wat ppl think so dun bother too much and u'll be happier, slightly at least
u have different views? mail me ba... hais... i jus noe i felt v tired... v sad.. i had lil strength to strud on... i felt u jus noe it when u are 21, u become physically more tired, mentally exhausted... and u jus noe one thing. u needed v much to be happy..
and tht someone 20 of age told me not everyone feels tht way. tht such things dun benchmark at 21, n doesn't come with age. to me everything comes with age.
posted by | cykomaniac | at 4:27:24 AM
had a very heavy tok with a friend about relationships. fer the first time. i listen to someone 20 years of age. tok to me about different perceptions of life. she told me tht every INDIVIDUAL is different. i mus learn to see from their POV, to understand, adapt and conform...to make things work out.
i felt there courting was purely a process of putting on a frnt. and i insisted on not doing that, i insisted on bein myself. and the person wud have to love me seeing what kinda person i am. and not putting on a mask everytime, thn after she say i changed. how come i am not so sweet animre blah blah blah...but she told me her POV was tht not everyone thinks like i do. i am jus an individual. fer her she thinks tht courtship is about a person putting on tht frnt. and tht everyone has different expectations.
she told me to court the person i have to reach her expectations. thn will i attain the person. which i disagree cos i wud then be unhappy. and i wud have not been myself. she said being happy when in love with a person is only a bliss.
so it concludes, i shud be more understanding, shud give in more, shud stop doing what i am happy with, and jus take it fer the time being. being upset is absolutely okie when courting. hmmm
wud then all the ppl who are courting be sad and all that who are courted shud by right be happier..
i felt like what i feel really dun matter.. my aim is jus to make someone else happy... and yet no one shud can or will understand tht i jus feel so tired. felt like my existence dun matter. my feelings dun matter. jus as long everyone is happy. noe one will care aniwaes.

Faithless, Outrospective i got the limited edition copy, yet to listen to it but i noe its good.
i am enjoying my read about how music had influenced people in their dressings, back in the 50s and 60s. the rock n roll culture, beatles, and the kinda music beatniks listened to. life's all a revolution cycle, we are moving back into understanding n adapting retro. cultures always intrigue me.

i am a proud left hander!was at the national library yesterdae, supposedly doing my homework, and having a 'balanced' life when i came across this book, The Left Handed Syndrome - The Causes and Consequences of Left Handedness by Stanley Coren
Left Handed People are linked to Neurosis, rebellion, creativity, artistic, music ability, mental retardation, criminality, homosexuality, genius, and empathy.
seen as a nasty habit, social inconvenience and labeled as a mark of devil. satan is always seen blessing his believers with his left hand. e.g as seen in tarot cards, all the evil sides hold an object on their left hand.
left- Lyft ( meaning weak and broken )
Defined by Oxford English Dictionary as crippled, defective ,awkward, clumsy.
yes, left handers are being seen as abnormal, weird, sign of the bad, devil or an insult. the word left basically means anything bad from ugly, uncouth, maladriot, deceitful, stupid, dishonest, sinister to sneaky.
but the fact is it is all a prejudice. what's outta the norm is always something bad. well get this clear.i am left handed and i am lesbian. but i am human.

Its been sometime now, check out these great links: http://www.torisukoshiro.com.Wicked anime. http://cmart.design.ru.Conclave Obscurum. http://lookandfeel.com.nice company site. The Audition R(A) This japanese movie has a very strong message about men sexually abusing children. done very abstractly, yet the message seems shouting in your face. Very grosse, the female lead in the show, due to trauma from being sexually abused by uncle when young turns sadis and takes revenge on men who wants sex by looking for girls through 'auditions'. The irony was that the producer, was a good man and due to friend's suggestion took the advice to look fer a wife though audition manner. yet when a prob starts to arise, the friend advises against it and he was too obsessed to listen.
scenes presented randomly, feel the pain, n the torture through the eyes of the girl.message: feel the pain i went through when all you wanted from me was sex. feel the pain yet not able to speak about it. experience the trauma of pain i went through.
watch out for the female lead, poking his eyes with needles, and going "kichii kichii kichii (deeper deeper deeper)" and smiling to herself. also when she uses a wire and says: i heard this cuts though meat n bone easily. Smiles and cuts a head from her uncle, and the producer's leg with a squish. *pukes*

An article i got from miuprint to share: i tot it was hilariously interesting tot to ponder abt. what's art?Art was making something, both with your hands and with your mind. Picasso made a statement, a scene, and so he was an artist. But he was also a painter; he dabbled with brushes and that sticky gooey stuff that comes in colours you can mix. And people looked at his paintings, they marvelled at his mind and his hands, that they could come together and create something to share with everyone else. But today, all it takes is a girl spending three whole days in bed sleeping (read The Straits Times, June 29th 2001 edition) to pass her finals at art school. Since when did art become so sickeningly abstract and complicated, so hilariously self-involved and pretentious that everything, from sleeping to pissing to flinging elephant dung on the Virgin Mary, becomes it? It’s no wonder that art has become parodied, a shell of a reflection of our confused times. If art ever belonged to the masses, it’s evidently been kidnapped and raped by these arrogant bastards and twisted into something only a hyperactive crack addict would understand. Is that all art has become? Another exhibitionist freak show, except this time, all we’re showing is how stupid and perverted the human mind can sometimes be.
Modern art is supposed to break new ground, which is why it’s called modern in the first place. But all we’re doing is banging our heads against a wall, while the man in the street (bless his tolerant little soul) watches in amusement and says, ‘Ever see anyone look as stupid as that? Art, that’s what it’s called. I sure as hell don’t understand it."
Having said all that, I have to admit, not all art right now is bad; there are lots of good artists around, breaking new ground in the traditional way of working their asses off (whether by painting, or carving, or using computers) and thinking seriously about their work. And then there are those who are just out for the camera flashes and magazine interviews. They want to explain the importance of their sofa and the bag of chips strewn on it. And that is what some people call art. Inspirational, beautiful, thought-provoking, unusual, witty, poignant, filled with the pathos of humankind. Bizarre, shock-a-minute, vaguely anorexic deadbeat arrangements of various household items.
Oh, yeah, art.
That was the thing that got killed this millennium.
The truth is, art has become isolated. How many modern artists now could garner admiration if their pieces were shown to an average person? The average person would probably think,
‘Fuck it, I’m either a moron for not understanding anything, or maybe what I’m seeing is just a really bad dream. I think I’ll go fantasise about Angelina Jolie’s ass right now."
You can’t arrange your fingernail clippings in the shape of a pregnant cow and imagine that you’re being incredibly deep; like it or not, inaccessible art that took little or no real effort or thought doesn’t deserve the tag of ‘art’. When I was in secondary school, I was an art student. Our teacher showed us paintings from Maoist China, and we gaped at Picasso’s genius and Degas’ little ballet girls. Most, if not all, of us were average people, philistines, silly little pinheads just looking for a pass grade and a way to avoid sawing wood in the technical workshops or slaving over a stove in the Home Economics room. But we were amazed; we liked, we appreciated the paintings and sculptures that we saw, and maybe even carried around their memories for a while. I find it strange now that we never really saw any modern art, but I conclude that it was a good thing that we didn’t, because if we had seen it, we’d probably think seriously about dropping art to take Food and Nutrition instead

How To Tell If Your Head's About To Blow Up ahahaha... tht's a realli good article. so nw i noe. :) thanks fer blogging! hehehe* Planet MG @ zouk was nt bad, the event was early, poool table set up on the dance flr, oreos, pizza, free alcohol, fruit punches, brownies n even bread with jam cud be eaten free on th dance flr of zouk. there were 2 realli good uk djs playing, it was a pity there was no area for dancing.
so there we were people watching. the best part was i spotted people whom i knew, at the scene cos it was cool to be there, but what were they caught doing? applying strwberry jam in the middle of the dance floor to their bread! ohmigawd. tht, seen at zouk by ppl u noe was unglam. n the look on their faces, like "woah* free food!* and bz munchin away in open view to all at zouk!

outta my heavy, hmwork schedule, i managed to sneak my way to zouk, with miao, kat and some gers from moviola... went phuture and zouk. danced till almost 3. it has been some time since i had actually done tht. and last nite i was so tempted to join. ahaha. while i was on the danceflr of zouk, dancin to the mixes of the new resident DJ Brendon P. there was this couple right nxt to me, the ger was drunk. the guy was taking advantage, his hands were all over her. the ger, kept trying to lift her skirt, screaming away, getting all horny in public, making orgasm sounds giving love bites... creating a scene, the ger was totally humilating herself. she kept wnating people to touch her, n clinging onto guys. all the guys were happily watching her.
the chinese guy who was with her, was enjoying the way she behave. and din wanna stop her n lead her on, even whn people or friends came in to pull them apart to stop the commotion.
at one point the ger, motioned fer a caucasian to her, (getting all super horny) and the caucasian pushed a indian next to him to the girl. the indian guy, looking all perverted, went up and put his hands all over her, trying to hug her n all. it was a v bad scene.
a guy pushed the indian guy away. he wanted more. goddamit. the whole commotion disrupted our dancing mood, till the bouncer came and ask people to tow the both of them away.
woah..

i am back, i am finally back!the tokyo trip was a good experience but i feel it cud be better. well, some tips here fer people who wanna go tokyo in the near future. 1. it is fucking hot there, at the time of the year. 34 degrees celsius on one of the days!
2. the subways are horrifying! always have a subway map with u.
3. harajuku's the best place to buy ur clothings. shibuya or shinjuku ain't as interesting.
4. prepare a 150 sing dollar fer the aha disney trip. magical, the parades' the best but i guess i've outgrown mickey.
5. bring a total of 1500 sing dollars to spend. i spent 800, and it was a worrying kinda situtation. had cheap cheap food, not japan cusine tasting.. their average really cool shirt is about 4900YEN. a cool bottom at 8800YEN. 1000YEN=15 sing dollar.
there were so much nice clothes i saw, heir nike carry drifit at oni 30 sing dollar! and even carries swimsuits! but everything was either outta budget or i had not so much to spend... sigh* wat the heck, i wil go again when i go have 1500 sing dollar to spare. ahahaha*

its the last sunday i have in singapore before i start school. and my friend Christina turns 21 today. i have been feeling down since 2 weeks ago. and i need to do something about it before i leave fer japan, no matter wat the answer wil be. sigh*
the feeling sucks, makes me depressed mosta the time. bottomed up 4 volka yesterdae and my body went all weak. too much late nites, the sudden rush of alcohol, and shit i was all dizzy and tired. buzz was quite a good place but the ahbengs with their 'chants and whistling' sure spoilt it all.

Finally found time to watch Memento today. Tried not to twitch eyes for whole length of movie. Think the editing is prodiguously good. Well...would have made a very pleasant movie experience had the 2 guys sitting behind me not keep repeating " Wha biangz! Liao luii ! ( waste money ! ) ". Heck. shit i am lagging. i wanna watch tht too! sigh... another show a friend, masterbates recommended Requiem a. A mass for a deceased person. b. A musical composition for such a mass. c. A hymn, composition, or service for the dead.
Requiem For A Dream has got to be the most compelling and mesmerising movie I've seen this year. I have no idea what the story is about, I remembered only the poster hanging at Orchard Cineplex. And after the first 15 minutes, it's about drugs and I know how the story ends like. But this movie weaves like magic. You'll feel for all the characters in the movie, whether they steal to get money to buy the drugs or in the case of the girlfriend, whoring herself to get money and drugs. And the mother who lives alone who decides to lose weight after a phonecall saying that she will appear on television. She too went to extremes just to fit into her fav red dress. And the music is really nice....aggresive violins with electro beats in the background. If you like morbid, dark story, this gem of a movie is showing at Orchard Cineplex.
And then there's the website. You will appreciate the site only after you have watched the movie. It a brilliant piece of work, not in terms of graphics used but the idea behind the site. And it won the D&D Silver Award for this site. Designed by Hi-Res. as quoted from masterbates.blogspot.com

The Perception Project. Enter ur photo and a perception ppl have of u which u think is false. Design Crimes. Design gone wrong.
Grrl Project. Interesting project for ger designers.
holominds. excellent splash design!
The problem with Flash So you're using Flash on your site. Does it make your site more interactive? Does it keep the file size of your site small? Is your site more usable because of your wise use of Flash? Do you have any experience designing with motion and sound? If you answered no to these questions, Flash isn't for you, and your site probably sucks.

Because that really ties in with what I did for my FYP...and I miss school...want to keep it as a memento. *gets greedy* And if you do go to Shinjuku...there's a multi-storied Kinokuniya bookstore there...can help me get some graphic books ? *hehehe...* cykomaniac: the course is only a year so i would say its quite affordable, and as for the shinjuku station tics, i try to get one fer u lar. :) but fer books.. hehehe i dun think so cos i wanna buy lotsa things!! wait my luggage can't lock! ahahahah*
