In every language there is a word for peace. I created this - Words of Peace - to be a meditation on the word, and the unity beyond the differences in all of us.
May all beings find peace.

A new sutra - The Heart Sutra - this time illustrated with a charming Chinese motif, reminiscent of cloisonné vases, courtesy again of Jaguarwoman design.

Three new sutras - "Setting the Wheel of Dharma in Motion", "The Discourse of the Not-Self Characteristic", and the "Fire Sermon" have been added to the Resources section.
I love the background set on these sutras from Jaguarwoman webdesign - you can practically smell the incense and feel the silk of a beautiful sari wrapped around your shoulders. For me, it really evokes a feeling of ancient India when I read these words.
On my "to-do" list for the site include adding more to the quotes section and adding more sutras - the "Heart Sutra" will be next, with a lovely Asian inspired background.

Oops! Is my face red! Through-out this site, I have been misspelling Thich Nhat Hanh's name! I think I have corrected all the pages, but if a link comes up missing, feel free to let me know!
Guess this goes to show, you really can't do your own proof-reading!

A new addition to the Resources section - an illustrated Dhammapada, including a zip file with a text only version you can download. Enjoy, and please let me know if you find any glitches or typos - I'm still doing QA on the pages, but wanted to put it up for Vesak. :)

Lots of new additions!
The Resources section has been re-worked to create a subheading for Links and Dharma Talks by Thich Nhat Hanh. The plan is to add other subheadings to the Resources section to include passages from the sutras and instruction on basic Buddhism.
Cloud9 has a new spring look, and my online journal or Elsa Cloud will be ready soon as well.
The "to-do" list for the site has many items planned - please come back often to see the progress! Enjoy!

A new story - The River and the Clouds - a gentle and lovely story of the essence and beauty of impermanence by Thich Nhat Hanh.
In my plans for the site, are to publish a series of public dharma talks by Thich Nhat Hanh as a gift of Dharma. Enjoy this story as a beginning to that project.
