Well, after much heartache, grinding of teeth and all round frustration the new mini-LP is ready and waiting. We recruited the talents of John Spence to help us complete what was Gary's last work, and the results of our efforts should be up on this site very soon...so watch this space. As ever the tracks will be free to download on MP3 so fill yer boots!!!! Oh yeah, and if any of you are interested, I'll be doing some solo renditions of our brand new songs at the Adelphi in Hull on Wednesday 6th June opening for the wonderful Pernice Brothers. If you come along stop and say hello!!!

As many of you will already know, our friend and co-producer Gary Burroughs has died following complications arising from treatment for cancer. Our heartfelt wishes go out to his family and friends at this time. Gary was an inspiration to all who met him, and those of us who had the opportunity to work with him will remember him fondly as a patient and dedicated man always brimming with ideas and always ready to go the extra mile for a result. Personally I will remember him for his mad percussive antics in the dark during a power cut as we waited to continue recording the album and jammed out "This Is Your Life", and our shared delight when Kanu scored that hat-trick against Chelsea. Gary's death is a massive blow to us both as individuals and as a band, and I know it is not an exaggeration to say that we will never meet anyone like him again. Gary, wherever you are we miss you, and til we meet again in that great studio in the sky, shine on you crazy diamond.....

Apologies for the delay again. Gary Burroughs was rushed into hospital on the eve of our studio session with serious complications following his treatment. Unfortunately we've been forced to delay completion of the new EP until he can physically face it. I'm sure you'll all agree that 6 songs by any band pale into insignificance next to a human life, and our heartfelt wishes go out to Gary right now. We'll keep you informed of progress as and when we know. Thanks again for your patience.

I've got a harmonica part written for "Do" on the new Ep. I can't actually play the thing, but it's only little - how hard can it be?

Unfortunately we have had to delay the second round of recording due to Gary, who engineers and co-produces us, being taken into hospital. The dates have been re-scheduled for February 3/4 and we'll take it from there. In the meantime songs are stacking up for inclusion on our next release (due later in the year) and we'll be working through them as quickly as we can. Thanks again for your patience!!

Hi All, We've made a start on the new EP and have the backbone of six songs recorded. We'll be back in the studio the weekend after next to finish off the music, and we'll be mixing as soon as possible after that. Next step will of course be to get the tunes up on the website and available for download so watch this space. It's sounding pretty good so far...but then I haven't sung on it yet. Thanks for sticking with us, and sorry about the delay. Take care. Paul.
