dm. [01:22] » I took two finals yesterday. First there was my Chemistry Final which came close to raping me. Three hours of um....chemical pain. Then there was my Computer Science final, which was not as bad as I feared it would be. I took the bus home that afternoon and it was a pleasant trip. I caught both buses in the nick of time. The first one I caught after having visited my favorite comic shop of all time (more about that later.) Anyway, now I am home relaxing a bit. Tomorrow I do some house cleaning, get some funds from the bank, go to SCU to pick up my old English essays, then its off to see Spike and Mike's Sick and Twisted festival of Animation.
You have to be 18 to enter and watch this marathon of sick animation....needless to say I have waited a few years, and now that I am 18 the only thing that would stop me is a missing ID. But i should not think that way, if all else fails I can blast my way in. Yes....blast my way in.
I just opened a most awesome birthday gift, even though its been almost two weeks since my birthday. Thank you anh for the wonderful set of "How to Draw Manga" books. They were so thoughtful and like i mentioned before a mere jumble of typed appreciation cannot express my gratitude, but thanks. (dear lord they mustive cost a fortune...i really do not feel like i deserve all this...)Now I am prepared for Christmas break. I can study and practice drawing, play electric guitar (a *sigh* Yamaha, not quite a FENDER STRATOCASTER, but a start), read that "Why we curse" book i picked up and get frognuts looking better TO THE EXTREME.
Well, while I was saying good night to my brother and giving him his blesses he mentioned something that i have not done in a long time. Before sophmore year...before the academic stress....before the wild ride that was senior year...when i went to bed i would lay there for an inumerable amount of time thinking about my dreams. I would close my eyes and think a dream up and as i feel asleep it would take on a life of its own. When i woke up the dream would stay in my memory. Lately though all i seemed to be able to do was crash for three hours at a time or lay in a coma for 10 hours on a saturday (thank you college). So now that i have some more time i can lay there and think. I read or heard or saw somewhere that some scientists see sleep (and dreams) as a time when your mind sorts out all the small thoughts and details of your day...sort of like defragmenting a hard drive....but moreso. Sleeping on something carries much more meaning to me that way.
Goddamn pop up ads.

dm. [15:33] » Finals....nooooooooooo.

-deadlymarxist ate a bad burrito and during his painful ordeal three hours later, there was a moment where the heavens opened to his mind and he understood all the mysteries of the cosmos. the moment was fleeting however, and all he had to show for it was a bad case of gas.
