We discovered that we share the same birthday today!

Ignoring leap years the
chance of any two people sharing a birthday is 1-(365/365 *364/365) = .0027.
Things get more interesting as you add people to the group. For three
people we get
1 - (365/365 x 364/365 x 363/365) = .0082.
As the number of people brought into the group increases, the chance of
a match increases. By the time the crowd numbers 23 people, the probability of
a (any date) matching birthday is .5073, or slightly better than 50%.

Daylight saving ended here on Saturday.
We are now 12 hours ahead of UTC/GMT. The clock on the top left will show the time in New Zealand if your computer's time setting are correct. (Micro$oft Windows users try this handy little program to set your PC's time from the internet)
The time difference will change to +11 hours (Ireland, UK, Portugal) when daylight saving comes into effect there.
Hope that has confused everyone.
