Community leaders are appealing to Pakistani-Americans to vote Democrat in the upcoming midterm elections. Democrats have a better record on immigration. Many Muslim organizations brought out a Republican vote in November 2000, a decision they regret because of the Bush Administration's crackdown on Muslims.

November 5th is election day for seats in the Congress. Several governors' races will also be decided in various states. This is a golden opportunity for Pakistanis and Muslims in America to vote Democrat and show their dismay with the Republican party.
