It was early in the morning and i was getting ready to go to school. I had not turned any radios or any of my televisions on so i had no clue what was happening until my door bell rang and i saw my friend looking very distraught. As we were walking to the bus stop he was relaying the whole story to me about the attacks. " The Twin Towers are gone!" was the first thing i heard and i did not understand.
At this point I had not seen the news, so i did not actualy see the destruction that went on, but when I got to school all of the TV's were on and when i finaly did see what happened for my own eyes, I was shocked and it reallly hit me deep down inside that this was the beginning of something terrible. Little did i know that life as we all knew it would never be the same again.
