I'm writing, as a member of the clergy, out of concern for same-sex partners of vicitims in the 911 attack. I understand that they will not be eligible for financial support from the Victim Compensation Fund unless their state has a domestic partner recognition program. This is a tragic mistake that only contributes to the hatred that first spurred this attack. I hope this can be corrected. Please verify that this information is true and inform me of whom I can contact with my concern.
