Please be fair
The 9/11 Victim's fund should be available to families of every description
that lost someone significant in their life. I am not gay, neither am I in
need of support from this fund. However, I did contribute and would not have
supported had I known that gay and lesbian couples would be excluded from
benefits. Please do not perpetuate the hate. We can be good stewards of the
fund without discriminating at a time when public bias should be put aside.
I thought we all learned a lesson about love and acceptance - apparently the
lesson didn't make it to you folks.
Sincerely,
Individual Comment
