1552.pjpegTaken from Exchange Place, Jersey city. A few days prior to Memorial Day 2001 vintage aircraft from America's past armed conflicts flew a route down the Hudson river with the backdrop of NYC. Shown here is a WWII B-17 bomber returning North, passing the world Trade Center, after circling the Statue of Liberty while waggling it's wings. Two powerful images of America from two different ages.
