I have been flying my flag before 9-11. It is a honor to be an american before after for the rest of my life. I am grateful to be in this country with it's up's and down's.
But i fly my flag a little bit higher and stronger than i ever have since september 11.

I don't take life for granted anymore. I mean how could you after what happened to everyone that day.

The way the world became "ONE" if only for a little while.
It was the best feeling in the world to know that everyone was changed just a bit by that day.

It was about 7:00 am in el paso texas. I was taking my little girl to school when i heard what happened on the local radio station. I was like nah uh i thought it was a joke. I dropped of my daughter at school, and then rushed home and turned on CNN. I screamed at my husband to wake up and at that very moment when my husband reached the living room where i was standing, that is when the 2 plane hit. I could not beleive my eyes I was 22 years old on 9-11 of that year and it still in lodged in my memory forever. GOD BLESS THE FAMILIES AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA..
