The morning of the eleventh I decided to sleep in. Safe in my warm bed I knew not of terrorist sins.
A phone call broke the "events" to me, told me, "Watch the news- wake up, go and see!"
Fliping through the channels I realized, we're not untouchable. Wondering where my family was I witnessed a second tower unfold.
No family or friends did I lose that day, but for those who did they'll be in my heart always.
When those who have lost go to salute, its more than a moment of silence. They'll remember the colors of the red, white, and blue.
