We flew American flags, but i've always thought of the flag as a representation of freedom and America's past. 9/11 strengthened that feeling.

My life has not changed since 9/11 because I haven't need to fly anywhere and I didn't know anyone in New York at the time.

I think 9/11 should be remembered as the day America pulled together, helped each other, supported each other, and risked their lives for other people.

I was getting ready for school and was watching the news when "Breaking News" showed up on the television. It cut to a picture of the World Trade Center on fire. About 5-10 minutes later I saw another plane in the corner of the screen crash into the other building. I ran upstairs and woke up my parents and watched the rest of the news until it was time to go to school.
