We were about 20-30 minutes into class when the principal
came over the loud speaker with news that the WTC buildings
and the pentagon had been struck. At first, I believed it
to be just some accident, just that someone had messed up
during flight and crashed into a building. But later on,
I learned from the hours and hours of news reports that
it was a terrorist attack. Everyone was just kind of in
a state of shock and hadn't really realized the magnitude
of the whole situation til we got home later that night.
