My heart remembers
This picture is how my heart will always remember Ney York City. I went to New York the first time when I was 25 years old. I loved it! I had wanted to go back for years but never did. After 9/11/01 I had to go back. My husband and I went in November and even after all the television coverage...I could not believe it had actually happened. We walked around reading notes and flyers of people looking for their loved one's. My heart was so heavy with sorrow for all the lives taken and for the families left behind. The smell of death was in the air even after almost 3 months and ashes were everywhere we looked. For some time after that I had nightmares of 9/11 and would wake crying. Those nightmare have returned, I can only assume because of all the media coverage of the anniversary. After 9/11 my life will NEVER be the same and I won't forget the way I felt seeing those towers crash to earth. I pray for the families and for our wonderful country.

and I can not even sleep well anymore.
It's very sad to see those ignorantes rulling
this country and the entire world from a cave
They are planning more attacks untill they
finish with us. And please don't bring them
to Guantanamo Bay and give them a bathin suit
to go to the beach. Please kill them right at
the spot. We don't need them here to spend
our taxes. Our packets are spending millions
of dollars to keep those basters here. Is
cleaner and cheaper if they get kill in their

And what happened with the shoe bomb guy?
Are they still insisting to send him to the
psiquiatrist hospital to get treament? When

trying to find a certain picture
I saw about your store on the discovery channel. The pictures that they showed were heart stopping. There was one in particular that tore me up. I would like to know if you still have it and how much it would be to get it. It is a picture of the trade center building after the plane went through, you can see the out line of the plane and standing in it is a woman. You have to really look to see her but she is there. Do you know the one I am talking about? Thank you, Becky Officer

Our hearts are with the American people today, and always. Ich finde einfach nicht die richtigen Wort, um beschreiben zu können, was ich fühle. Ich würde so gerne den Menschen helfen, die eine wichtige Person in ihrem Leben verloren haben, aber das schlimme ist, wir können nichts tuen. So viele Menschen mussten umsonst sterben!!! Do We Know Why?
I grieve, the loss has been tremendous, for now it is personal and no longer something removed and abstract - but here and unescapable.
Hundreds of articles focusing on our grief, the loss, the anger, the pain. The attack the killing morally, ethically, humanly wrong.
But, do we yet know why? We have not yet begun to ask the hardest questions such as what is it we have done as a nation, in our policies, or actions, or attitudes to have caused such offense, or hatred? I want get past the rhetoric and the histrionics and ask them to answer these questions objectively, factually and leave out the subjective until later.
Is it even possible to express these things factually or reasonably?

Nichts wird sein wie es war
Ich kann nur mein Mitgefühl all denen aussprechen die bei diesen schrecklichen Ereigniss völlig aus ihren Leben gerissen würden.Aber eins muß ich auch sagen es war zu erwarten das Amerika irgentwann angegriffen werden sollte vieleicht sollten die Menschen nachdenken das nicht nur immer eine Seite Schuld ist. Es soll aber nicht heißen das ich das beführworte was Bin Laden da angerichtet hat.Amerika sollte nicht gegen den Irak versuchen zu kämpfen egal wie es ausgehen wird Amerika wird der Verliehrer sein den sie wurden einmal in das Herz von Ameria getroffen u jetzt könnte sich das immer wiederholen. Was hat Busch den seitdem erreicht ja er hat sich als verständnissvoller Politiker gezeigt aber im Enteffekt würde er seinen Arsch u seine Familie retten. Er hat den Schutz den ganz Amerika braucht.

Ich möchte allen betroffenen Menschen von diesem fürchterlichen Attentat mein Beileid aussprechen. Amerika hat diese Last stark getragen und niemand wird es jemals niederwerfen können. Niemand hat das Recht, ein Flugzeug als Bombe zu mißbrauchen und viele tausend unschuldige Menschen zu töten. Warum nur mußten all diese Menschen sterben? Warum wurden so viele Kinder zu Waisen gemacht. Nur aus Selbstsucht und Geltungsgefühl? Nur wegen einem fanatischen Glauben? Ich kann das nicht verstehen. Es ist einfach nur schrecklich.

Five years ago i've been in new york for the first time. one thing i will remember always and forever is the view over manhattan from the roof of the wtc.
when i heard that a plane chrashed into one of the towers, my heart stop beating for a short time and tears running down my face when i first saw the pictures of the collapsing tower.
i couldn't believe it at 9/11/01 and i still can't believe it today...
i will visit new york again in january 2003. but it never will be the same. i'm a little bit scared of seeing ground zero and beeing overwhelmed by emotions...
my heart goes out to all citizens of new york, specially to them who have to overcome the loss of a loving person and also to the rest of the american nation.

I honestly never knew what the World Trade Center was until September 11, seeing as I live in Illinois and am only 15, and was shocked to realize it was almost as big as the Sears Tower, which I've gone to the top of twice. It was almost unbeleivable to see these humoungous buildings just toppling over like sandcastles, not 110 story buildings made of steel. This picture is honestly beautiful, I must say, and the idea behind this whole project is amazing, as is the cause. I still love you, New York!
