Wow

This, to me, is such a powerful image. Being someone from the center of the US and not having been there in NY that horrible day or the days that came to follow, it was difficult to imagine or visualize the enormity of the desruction. This photo, using a body of water as a reference for scale simply blows me away and helps me to understand the terror and hopeless of those who were running from the collapsing buildings...running from a huge and frightening monster that simply couldn't be stopped.
