view from a british citizen

i was only sixteen when it happened. what can i possibly say? how can i understand? all i can sasy is that i saw this happen on tv when i finished school, and let me tell you, it has affected me for life. i have never cried so much as i did that day. i think that all you people out there who have lost loved ones, you have to be the bravest people on the planet. i bow down to all of you. and to the people that died that day, i dont know you, but believe me, we all mourned you. we all miss you. rest in peace people. you will never be forgotten. even in britain. x

I remember

I remember watching this over and over. I remember days turning in to weeks, into months. I remember being glued to the television not wanting to leave for fear of missing something. I have never felt such love, compasion, and pain in unison. I had never wanted to be the better person I am today because of it. It took an incredible tragedy to bring us together. I pray we continue to work on it. Volunteer, help your neighbor, give of yourself. When you give of your possesions you give little, it's when you give of yourself that speaks volumes.
