I am a Registered Nurse in a State Facility and was working that awful day. I was also pregnant and 4 days past my "due date". I was so ready to have my baby. I was miserable. When I was told of the first plane hitting one of the Twin Towers I searched for the nearest TV and sat there glued to the set, just watching and praying. And then I realized that I didn't want to have my baby today. Not today. I prayed to let me carry her a little longer. I had her 3 days later.
